Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Porsche Rebuilt Control Arm - Rear Track Arm: Steering and Suspension &amp Control Arms and Related Parts They are about as expensive as the replacements. I just figured if there was a way to put the bushing in myself it would be even less expensive.

POST 5Original post

I found one manufacturer that sold replacement bushings - they were $120 - hardly worth the savings.

POST 6Original post

I just replaced the track arms on my S, the arm uses a ball joint...I cant see how a bushing can do the same job ?? You can take yours off and "peen" the rolled flange to tighten one up....not sure how long this will last...but you could try it and see. Ah, I saw the version where the joint was replaced with a bushing as seen in the above post. I guess the arm is machined to allow a bushing in there.
