I desnorked it yesterday (took 30 minutes, easy, but my thumb is real sore and forget the screwdriver, I used a butterknife, which worked well).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 2Original post

Not an answer but have seen this? http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-modifications/11373-looking-wire-mesh-grills.html Removal of the front bumper to install seems to be the big chore.

I made grills for the Cayman and the pictures you saw on the RaceMesh website site are of my car. Send me a PM if you want details.

POST 5Original post

front mesh After reading about damaged radiators on this site, I took a peak into the front of my car and saw, yes; 'leaves and stones' and quite a few dents in the radiator ribs. My car only has 1400 miles. I desnorked it yesterday (took 30 minutes, easy, but my thumb is real sore and forget the screwdriver, I used a butterknife, which worked well). Anyway, I was admiring my handiwork and the huge roll of aluminum mesh left over (I got it at OSH for like 2 bucks) and a thought came into my head. Ok the results are rather poor, cosmetically. But I doubt any more rocks and sticks and **** can get past the mesh I put in front. Actually, at 80 miles an hour it looks great. Up close and personal it does not. I will attempt to add photos of the front mesh job, but they can also be found on my profile.

mesh photos my photos are too large (1.04mb, or something) so I couldnt upload them to this post. They can be found in the gallery under lapiz blue caymans.
