I've just ordered a C4 for April delivery to replace my '02 M5 which is in Carbon Black, Black Leather and Aluminium (not painted) trim.

I've just ordered a C4 for April delivery to replace my '02 M5 which is in Carbon Black, Black Leather and Aluminium (not painted) trim. Of all the available colours I'm pretty much settled an Slate Grey Metallic. Interior wise it'll be Black Leather, but I'm undecided on trim options. The '03 aluminium look pack has some nice features - thin trim line across dash and silver central vent slats, but I'm not too sure about the intrument surround or the optional silver rear console, especially on a Slate Grey car.
The Carbon Fibre rear console looks gorgeous but I've not seen the carbon fibre instrument surround and I think the thin carbon trim across the dash may get lost in all the black.
Aluminium instrument faces look cool, but God knows how they decided on the price.
The rear centre console could also be leather or body colour or .... arghhh!
I want a classy understated purposeful interior that isn't too drab. Help me out please fellas.

Congrats on the Porsche order! I just placed an order today for a customer with some great options. A C4S in Speed Yellow/Black full leather, Yellow seatbelts, Yellow stitching throughout the car, Small aluminum package, carbon fiber steering wheel and e-brake/shifter, Porsche crests in the seat headrests, sport exhaust, aluminum look instrument dials, Xenon headlights, Bose stereo and PCM II. Cant wait till it gets here and it isnt even for me!!

If you would like to see the same pictures as the web page(and a few more), but with much better quality, click on the Photo Album link below. The web page images had to be degraded for quicker loading, whereas, the Rennlist Photo Gallery retains the original, higher quality image. The difference is dramatic.
No carbon fibre, but here is a painted rear console combined with plenty of aluminum. I was trying to add accents that would break up the black leather interior.
