Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I'm getting a clicking sound from the front area of the passenger seat or floorboard. Sounds something like an electric switch cycling. Seems more prominent in turns. Only occurs when motor is running and I am driving the car--not the sound of engine/exhaust cooling after shutdown. Car runs fine. Any thoughts?

POST 2Original post

Not too much to go on. Whenever I have a noise such as this, I will have my wife drive the car while I do a better search for the noise. When the noise is happening are you using the heated/ventilated seats?

POST 3Original post

Would the A/C compressor on the fritz make such a sound? Try driving a bit with the A/C turned off and see if that makes it go away.

POST 4Original post

I suspect you may be having a problem with the Bose amp located under the passenger seat. Take it back to the dealer for a check.
