Loren, I installed the sport exhaust without the switch but now it hardly sounds any diffrent from the stock one.

How easy or hard is the install of the sport exhaust with the dash switch cutout ??

If you are just replacing the mufflers (no vacuum or electronics) -- about 1 hour. In this method the exhaust is always open. If you are installing the wiring and vacuum connections -- about 8 hours. The wiring harness and lines must be run through the car (partial removal of the interior and seats) as well as drilling holes for the vacuum lines. If you want the TSB instructions for this email me and I'll forward them on to you.

Loren, I installed the sport exhaust without the switch but now it hardly sounds any diffrent from the stock one. Sometimes I so get a louder more beautiful version of the stock one but not always. Is there anything to be done? I feel as if the exhaust opens and closes on it's own accord. Maybe there is a valve adjustment that I overlooked. Help would be greatly appreciated

Did you (or the dealer) install the vacuum lines or the electronics? Or, did they just install the mufflers only? If it's mufflers only then the valves are open all the time. If they installed vacuum and electronics (regardless of the switch) then it is controlled by speedometer speed. This can be easily overidden.

I had the sport exhaust installed with vaccum and electronics. Took the shop around 8-9 hours. Personally, I don't think that it's worth the extra money in labor hours. i suggest that you install the mufflers only..save yourself 6 hours of labor.
