Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Been driving around in an 09 Boxster S for 6 months now and it's been absolutely sublime to drive. I decided to go for a post Christmas drive a couple of days ago to blast away the cobwebs, which it certainly did, but when I put the roof back the it did not properly locate. The fabric around the rear of the driver and passenger windows was overlapping the pastic frame, and not tucked in beneath it. reading the manual I noticed it said not to operate the hood at temps of 0 or below?? Has anyone else had this issue?

POST 3Original post

You mentioned not operating below 0. What was the ambient when you experienced this?

POST 4Original post

Yep it was around zero - didn't expect the mechanism to be so sensitive though and wondered if this is an isolated thing?

POST 5Original post

I would guess this is due to expansion contraction issues. I would say leave it open and park the car somewhere warm (if you have a heated garage for example) then after a couple of hours, try that again!
