Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have also checked the sunroof, but can't see anything obvious although I couldn't find/see any drainage holes.

Suggestion

Check the drain plugs in the cills (usually under the plastic cover), they have a one way valve that gets blocked and cills fill with water then leak into footwell.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 2015 991.1 turbo S (41k miles) with a Panoramic sunroof and am getting some condensation on the inside - primarily on the windscreen and sometimes on the doors. It didn't do it last winter though. I suspect I have a bit of a leak as the carpet behind the driver's seat is a little damp thus probably causing the condensation. I've had the air-con checked and re-gassed and I also dried it out with a portable heater for a few hours and that has definitely helped. I have also checked the sunroof, but can't see anything obvious although I couldn't find/see any drainage holes. Any tips/advice please?

POST 3Original post

Check the drain plugs in the cills (usually under the plastic cover), they have a one way valve that gets blocked and cills fill with water then leak into footwell. Also make sure not too much water behind seat as the main body control module is there and you dont want that to get wet!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you - that is very helpful. I will check tomorrow.
