Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I agree it looks cool when you check the rear view mirror

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Went out with some Porsche friends for lunch. One of pointed this out.
It's a diminutive Porsche logo on the bottom of the rear glass. You can read it from the outside, as well as while looking at the rear view mirror. They wanted to know where I got it. They did not believe me when I said it came from the factory like that, mainly since they didn't have it.
Anyone here know if it only started for MY '02, or only for C4S, or what?
I have a MY 2000 Carrera. I have this same logo on the bottom of my rear window. However, my friend who took delivery of the same model two months earlier than me does not have it. He got his from a different dealer. Makes me wonder if it is installed by the dealer.
Wierd.
So, it looks like '02 coupes have it. Sorry, Don. Maybe it started with the millenium edition, but only on the later builds, that's why Erik has it, but his friend with the earlier model doesn't.

Well I've just returned from the British International Motor Show and I saw that logo on UK cars.
BTW it was press day today <img src="graemlins/drink.gif" border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" />
The show opens to the public on Friday.
So, to summarize, it started in the US late 2000, through 2001, 2002, and into 2003, only on coupes (C2, C4, C4S, TT, GT2), and started in Europe for 2003 unless it's only for the motor show. Anyone within that category NOT have it?
Hum wait, Palting, not all around Europe, Here in Switzerland, a friend has it in his TT 'april '01 . Another friend has it in his C4S fev.02.
I don't have it in my C4 jul '99.
I wonder if Porsche or other brand has that logo in the market as sticker.
