I'm worried that the repair guys had to remove the dash in order to install the windshield and in the processes, the something got shifted or knocked loose.

I am not a windshield installer but I am fairly sure dash removal is not necessary when replacing a windshield.

Don't know remember what brand of windshield I got, it has the antenna running through the middle like the original one.

I had someone replace my windshield due to a crack a couple of days ago and when I went to use my cup holders, the right one popped right out. I repeatedly tried pushing it in again because it wouldn't lock in. Now it won't pop out unless i pry it out. The left one works great. I'm worried that the repair guys had to remove the dash in order to install the windshield and in the processes, the something got shifted or knocked loose. Is removing the dash part of the replacement procedure for windshield?

Are you in the Phoenix area and happy with how it was installed? Who did your install? Did you get an OE windshield. My windshield is will need replacing soon and I'm holding off since it is original and I want to be sure I find a good installer for an OE windshield. Thank you. Eddie

I had mine done through SafeLite. The first install leaked (air whistling at speed) but the second one has been fine. Don't know remember what brand of windshield I got, it has the antenna running through the middle like the original one.

How much was a new Cayman windshield (installed), and was it OEM or other? Mines got some "love bites" and am thinking about replacing it.

If you're asking me, I have no idea as I had it done through insurance. I highly recommend adding full glass coverage since it only costs a couple dollars and all repairs/replacements are free.

I got an aftermarket one and it was $550 with installation but that's not typical I'm assumingl. I've sent a good amount of people to him for auto body stuff over the years so he cut me a deal. After testing it in rain and dumping lots of water from the garden hose on it, it looks fine. No wind noise at high speed either.
