It's basically as simple as removing & replacing the seals - that's easier said than done though!

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 3Original post

Porsche centre will just replace, like for like, but at great expense.  There are solutions on Pelican for rebuilding at home.  From my reading, it's cost effective but fiddly & messy. A mate of mine has built a small cottage industry rebuilding hydraulic rams for Saab & Merc convertible tops (same parts across both brands).  It's basically as simple as removing & replacing the seals - that's easier said than done though!
