I am 57 with clean record and multiple German cars on same policy and will be paying about $2,000 for one year with Auto Owners in Florida, Palm Beach county.

Team 526, I'm not even calling my insurance agent until maybe 2 days prior to picking up my car. I have 3 cars on my policy now. 2004 S4, 95 911, and 2004 allroad. I'm paying $1600 for the 911 and that's 11 years old. I'm 51 with a totally clean record. I'm hoping the cayman won't cost me more than 2k. So maybe yours is not that bad. I'm with Met life ins. Jeff

True, I shouldcount my blessings that it is not costing more, but some guys here are only paying $900 a year. I think Florida is higher.

OK, here's the deal. I have a couple of older porsches that I insure w/ Leeland currently. I don't know if anyone is familiar w/ them, but you promise to drive only a minimum amount of miles (I do 2,500 a year) w/ each car. My premium on my 911 cab is $360.00 a year - full coverage. Also have to promise to drive only for recreation - not to work ,or do day to day business. On a new Cayman S in southern florida a years insurance is $754.00 w/ a $2,500 deductable, and $941.00 a year w/ $1,000.00 deductable. 2,500 miles a year allowance. My State Farm agent has a 7,500 mile a year policy w/ $1,000 deductable for $1,228.00 a year. There are no other restrictions other than mileage. My question is this... Do I go w/ the good 'ol State Farm Policy, or save $470.00 a year w/ the higher deductable Leeland Policy?
