Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

seems to be suffering intermittent loss of fuel pressure only at start up. Completely random. New pump fitted and still the same. Any ideas ????

POST 2Original post

Aghh a seperate issue ! The 2 may be related .. but i think not .. You have a gauge on the fuel rail and confirmed it doesnt have pressure on some startups i take it ? Assumeing this then the fuel pump relay might be worth swopping or replaceing . After that a crank angle sensor .. if the car doesnt know its spinning over then it wont activate the fuel pump .. ign on and you get a 2 second prime .. after that its crank angle . For a suspect crank angle fault then you would fit a noid light into an injector .. you wont have it light / flicker on and off if its that . Wiring diagrams or indeed the manual can be downloaded here .. http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=83491
