I've got yellows on mine and what a difference over the worn standard items, I also changed the gearbox mount so the gearshift is good.

I'd recommend heavily lubing the 18mm nuts on the underside prior to doing it and whilst laid on your back it's possible a ramp is going to make the job a doddle.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So up at 6am to nip to my mates garage before they start work to put these on! Mine were original, 80kmiles and way past their best. These have been a vast improvement, it's like having a new gear box now the lump isn't wallowing about?!? I'd recommend heavily lubing the 18mm nuts on the underside prior to doing it and whilst laid on your back it's possible a ramp is going to make the job a doddle. Forty minutes and they were done
