Hi - I'm thinking of changing the factory Harmon stereo in my 996 for a double din unit that links to my iPhone. I realise that means changing the position of the climate control unit. I believe I have to buy a fascia surround and I've seen some of these on eBay but only for cars without the cup holders. Has anyone else done this and which facia unit did you get? Thanks Paul

Be prepared for some "fettling" as you'll need to make thing fit by trimming and cutting. the facia does fit, but it takes work. Have a search as there have been many posts about this in this forum :thumb:

I did mine about 7 years ago so doubt the fascia link is still current. I do recall it was dearer than others and is a nice black painted aluminiam product. I puttje climate at the bottom and fitted a sunglasses cubbyhole in the other slot. Needed a bit of dremel work, Im sure I did a thread at the time.
