Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

the conti's are clearly better rain tires than my old p zero's. they are also MUCH less noisy! <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" /> their dry traction is a shade less sharp at 10/10 situations which are almost never a factor for a daily driver. overall, imo, for a sunny day weekend car the pzero's provide a little more dry grip. for a daily driver the conti 2's are superior--especially in the rain when traction is so critical!

POST 2Original post

The Dunlop Sport 9000's last longer than the Conti's and their just as quite. 9000's have better wet traction than the P-Zero and comparable on dry pavement.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

unfortunately the dunlops 9000's won't fit the c4s.

POST 4Original post

Ignacio, I saw a 996TT last friday with the Corsas in sizes that fit our cars! He got it from a dealer in Florida that regularly supplies race equipment. Bob Woodman's, he says. He was completely enamored with the tires. It is taking all my will power and restraint to keep myself from ordering!!

While you're at it, sell those overweight solid spoke wheels too...

Otherwise, it's a compromise. More grip but less rubber with 285 Cups vs less grip but more rubber with 295 Corsas.
