Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Just bought a 987 2.9 Cayman and looking to make contact and get a once over from someone that knows the cars inside out. Any recommendations nearby? Cheers.

POST 2Original post

My 15 year old Boxster S gets serviced at Project 9. All good, decent service. On the basis of two service experiences, I would recommend them.

3 Main local, ish choices, I think Project Nine in Marden http://www.projectnine.co.uk/ La Rose in Kemsing https://laroseporsche.co.uk/ 9 Excellence in Horley https://www.nineexcellence.com/contact/ I used Project Nine a fair bit when I had my 964 and 9E have a good rep La Rose have been about a long time but are pretty low profile (Cliff from Project Nine used to be their Senior Tech before he left to go it alone) Edited by freedman on Thursday 17th February 16:03

For a small porsche specialist workshop there is Octane Garage in Crowborough and RD9 based near Tunbridge Wells. Also for high end service, theres Paragon in Five Ashes.

POST 6Original post

I have tried a couple of names listed here and settled on Precision near Uckfield. I travel down from Bromley and have been very pleased. One of their technicians gives a lot of advice on 911uk as well if you want to ask questions.
