I use the car mostly as fun, having use of a van for my daily transport, and want to progress with the sporting elements for the 996, I keep looking at various options for fitting a roll over cage as the next stage.

Agency power in America produce them, and benefit from the cross brace / triangulation being removable if in the rare case you need to use the rear seats.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all, I have been sporting a C4 for some time, and have various mods, Sports suspension, GT3 wheels, engine induction / exhaust, etc. Although I haven't asked, they obviously make these in left hand drive format, due to their location. I like the idea of bolting these to the existing seat belt mountings too. Is anyone offering this type of fitment here in the UK?

POST 2Original post

I take it that you have already looked at a Porsche Tequipment cage? These are often put into comfort specification GT3s that did not come with the OEM full cage and are bolted to the seat belt points. They do only come as the rear part of the cage though - no front. Pip

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Jon, did the brace come over the drivers head, for RHD cars?

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Still looking, are there any other companies than can produce a RHD version. Or is anyone letting one go?

POST 7Original post

+1 agency power (only reason I got mine is I copied Jon lol)

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So, are yours and Jon's RHD, brace over drivers head?

POST 9Original post

Sorry Didn't see your question. The Agency cage isn't handed so fits both RHD and LHD cars. Cross members as per your photo. If you want a RHD cage RSS do them speak to Ken at Nine excellence he's a RSS uk rep. Or Cargraph do a copy of the OEM cage. Both of which are about 3 times more cash.
