Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

This was only used a couple of times on my 996 before trading it in for a 997.
Leading evidence: 'Use couple of times' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use couple of times' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Guys
I am tidying the garage and have a coupe of parts from my 996 Turbo which was sold a while back. Firstly there is the original indoor car cover in the Porsche bag (Genuine Tequipment). I have never used it but did take it out to look and threw it back in the bag so could do with an iron (well that's what the Mrs said but I didn't understand what she was on about  ).
Also I have the Revo SPS Select Plus for Porsche complete with software. This was only used a couple of times on my 996 before trading it in for a 997. Anyone who has looked at a remap will know what this is.
Now I would rather sell these to enthusiasts on this site rather then elsewhere like eBay so would appreciated impartial thoughts on value before I list them here (and not eBay).
I have looked around and the covers are selling for far in excess of £150 and the SPS in excess of £200 so are these realistic prices or not :dont know:
What's the form for selling these things as I would rather sell to another 911uk member at lower prices than some muppet on eBay.
Anyone interested at the prices above (plus postage) - should I list them here and reduce the price each week until someone buys?
Any thoughts?
I think you would have been chewing on bone, I would have been there first
The Revo maps look pretty expensive at £1300 + vat, Vivid have a 'special offer' at £991 but not sure if inclusive of vat although still to much.
If these companies cut their margin by 40/50% they would walk out the door, ho hum, better to keep them on the shelf at the high price than to sell them at lower of course...
Thanks Nick - will get back to you.
Sorry
yes - you do need the Revo remap first and then the SPS allows you to play with it and even turn if off. I think I paid even more than the numbers quoted and that was still a "cash" purchase so they must have come down in price. Revo still do offer the free trial first which is what got me hooked.
Achtung - I traded the 996TT againt my 997TT at the OPC so had to switch off the remap and "give it away". Didn't think they would appreciate it on my standard car  . Someone must be driving around in the car with a lot more free power available but unfortunately they won't know it.
