Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Yes it is covered, I had mine changed earlier in the year.
Leading evidence: 'Replace earlier in the year' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is ''tuning'' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check engine bay' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I see you sig says 'X50 DMS' if its been mapped I wouldn't expect the OPC to honour any warrantee if they suspect 'tuning'

Have you checked the engine bay for exogenous nuts?

Yes, I would go to an OPC about the MAF but no doubt the first thing they would do is to put a code reader on the car and charge me for it - at least if it turns out to need the throttle body cleaned they would.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I wasn't expecting the maf to be covered by the Porsche warranty but having searched a few old threads it seems it is? Can anyone confirm this as I believe I need a new one - or soon will.
It's not been detected for 3 years with the previous owner so here's hoping they don't frequent these pages
Hey, how about the oil pressure sensor/sender. My needle occasionally acts like a squirrel on a tree.
Depending on your exact definition of a squirrel, the oil pressure is dependent on engine temperature and rpm. So it can and does vary, sometimes dancing around.
It randomly dives and climbs at a steady road and engine speed, then is fine for several minutes. I am tempted to be paranoid but am pretty confident it's just a sensor, not my engine about to self-destruct. Everything sounds and feels perfect.

I have a few items booked in with Ray at Northway next month so will have him put the reader on it for free. If it's the MAF then Porsche can give me a new one then I guess.
Hmm, sounds like your oil pressure sender switch (sensor) is on it's way out (or loose connection).
Have you checked the engine bay for exogenous nuts? (walnuts, hazelnuts, acorns etc etc)
