Just use the excellent search tool on here for 'mats' in the 996 forum and you will find lots of good advice.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi All
recently bought my first 996 and although the chap at the garage let me kwwp my mats from my PX, they dont fit really so looking for a new set - can anyone send me a pic of theres as looking around want to make sure what the shops says is a 996 mat actually does fit!
Anyone bought recently with recommendations as well? Mant thanks.
Hi, welcome to 996 ownership, and the forum! :bye:
Probably worth getting some proper mats (the official Porsche ones are shaped to the exact size of the footwells and also stick to the carpets with velcro); I see Porschshop have lots of choice -
http://www.porscheshop.co.uk/acatalog/porsche_996_overmats_carpet_sets.html#a1_211668
- and it's always worth checking with your local OPC as they could well be cheaper.
You might
just
be able to make out the mats from the attached picture (sorry it's the best I have of the interior, showing the mats!).
Don't ruin your 911 with some £10 mats from Halfords... :nooo:
Sorry if that sounded harsh (been drinking, typing-before-thinking syndrome).
I would get down to your nearest Porsche dealership (OPC), you might well be surprised - I've found them to be very reasonable for parts / accessories, it's mainly the labour charges that are excessive. You should be able to get a complete set of mats, front and rear, for £100ish, which in reality isn't bad for a car that cost £60k+ new.
If you're lucky, someone like Richard H may even post the Porsche part no. up for you...
Too many combinations Ant. Coupe, Cab, Targa, Colour, etc.
Top tip - if you only want front mats, get a pair for a Boxster (£63+VAT from an OPC). A set for a 996 is £108+VAT.
Or a £10 (minus a single mat)
Didnt sell - PM the ebayer and pick yourself up a bargain
