Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Now call me old fashioned but I thought that unless you claimed, your insurance would gradually come down.No.Not with TESCO.Last year £750 5yrs no claims.Today £1100 with 6yrs no claims. They even want a certificate that the factory alarm is thatcham.ARRRRRRRRGHHHHHH.

POST 2Original post

Mine doubled!!!!!!!! Shop around, you should be able to get it cheaper than renewal - I got mine for only £50 more than last year but that was still £950.....

POST 3Original post

Mine has just doubled from Hagerty as well - what on earth is going on?? All of a sudden, their premium for a limited 3,000 mile policy is not looking so great - shame as they have been great to deal with.

POST 4Original post

Try Classic line. Just sorted mine. £460 Comp for the year with 6000 mileage limitation & £250xs. Thought that was a deal

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Cheers adamw, will do.Got a £750 quote from elephant but because its a heavily modded turbo blowing 1.3bar they won,t entertain it.Worlds going mad, insurance is an headache!

POST 6Original post

I have just spent a week trying to find a good insurance quote for my new 996 c4s cab that I am collecting in the morning.............can't wait After trying all the web based insurance companies I called Porsche insurance and they were the cheapest by a long way, even though I had no no claims for a 3rd car they gave me 3 years bonus also they were the only company who didn't mind the x51 kit or just the factory alarm system?. I was quoted £685 which I suppose isn't too bad with no bonus to transfer over. Hope this helps 12 hours to go, shame I have to go 180 mile to collect her

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thats a great result thanks man.180miles is great, what a ride home.

POST 8Original post

6am in the morning train to London then tube then train on to Kent for 10am, pay draft then 180 miles home . Probably the only time I won't moan about driving that far, might even drive the opersite way round the m25 just for fun........ Rol on 6am
