Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What rear pads are people running when upgrading the front to Performance Friction 06s or Pagid RS29s? Searched high and low on the forums but no definite answer anywhere. :?: Cheers J

POST 2Original post

I'm running RS29 front and rear. Some may say overkill but if you mix compounds you are potentially altering brake balance. Haven't had a chance to use them in anger yet (i.e. trackday them). Also, I changed to 997 turbo rear discs to match the 350mm fronts I now have.

POST 3Original post

PF06 on standard GT3 steel disks for me. The pads last about 3 times longer than the disks!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for helping me consider how to spend my money

POST 6Original post

James how is that RS-29 front and rear working out for you, about to put in an order? :thumb:

POST 7Original post

......plenty of US folk run RS14's rear, as they give more bite and help balance the under braked rear out.....entirely correct, haven't tried it with a Porsche myself, RS29's all round....

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Really happy with the RS29s all round, loads of dust bedding in mind. I got them through performancebraking who were the cheapest and extremely helpful, no online you have to ring them. Also do SRF at a good price J
