Even gave my wheels a really good clean before putting them back on because he said he just couldn't stand to put them back in the dirty condition they had arrived in!

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks to Lloyd for recommending Richard at RSR, I had him do a major service for me this week, and complete brakes all round, discs, pads, shoes. Only just picked up the car, so I suppose its early days, but seems like a really nice bloke, and did the job on time and gave me helpful advice on OEM parts which saved me quite a bit of money. Suggested Helix 5/40 oil for my older (60k miles) engine. All of that seems to tally with what many knowledgeable folk on here also say. Even gave my wheels a really good clean before putting them back on because he said he just couldn't stand to put them back in the dirty condition they had arrived in! (see my previous posts about cleaning the car twice a year whether it needs it or not). Well worth checking him out if you are in the W Midlands area. H
