Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Hi everyone Ive had my cayman s for about 2 months. I drive it every day. Last night I left my cell charger in the cigarette lighter but didnt drive it all day today. This evening I went out and the car started, but barely.. Would the cellphone charger be the problem in this case? It is a motorola charger with a blue neon light on the end.

POST 2Original post

The charger should not draw enough amps to run down the battery. You need to have the battery checked. Also check for a parasitic load. If not sure what that is, just google it and there are many postings explainig how to check the vehicle for a load with key off.

POST 3Original post

I had a phone charger with a small LED light drain the battery in my Ford Expedition when left in for about 24 hrs; so it can draw enough current to drain your battery. The question is whether your battery has a bad cell, or just wasn't fully charged to begin with. Most places that sell batteries, like AutoZone, Interstate Battery, or Sears will test and fully recharge your battery (if necessary) for free (or a very nominal charge). That's what I would recommend . . .

POST 4Original post

Definitely get the battery checked. The one in my '07 died after a year. There are also many threads in the forums about replacement batteries.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
