Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So - decide to scratch my 911 itch recently, browsing through Motorsport Magazine, saw the HWM advert and it had 2 good looking 996s. Ring the chap up, agree to visit next week.
Thought I'd do a quick google search for a 911 forum, found this one, first topic from 'BBC Watchdog' is about Hendon Way Motors.
Sodding typical. Back to the main dealer route then - unless anyone has any genuine, quality independent 911 garages I can take a look at (I'm Kent based).
No need to go down the HWM route, some good independent Porsche dealers are:

I went to HWM about 2 months ago to test drive a car. Turned out that it wasn't their car as I got to speak with the owner a couple of weeks afterwards who had given it to them for servicing!

Thank you muchly for these - very, very helpful - will take a look. After a 996 C2, nothing fancy, maybe a 2003 - £23.5kish as a budget (its weekender).
Could I have the list of good 911 stockists again pls?
a kind poster sent a list of good 911 stockists, on my post (which appears to have been deleted - didn't look mega-controversial, but hey)....
I only remember RSR.....
Thanks
