Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

34 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Lovely spec - but still - ridiculous price https://jzmporsche.com/cars/porsche-9912-p0362/

donutskidmark said: Lovely spec - but still - ridiculous price https://jzmporsche.com/cars/porsche-9912-p0362/ Its a bit bonkers granted, but expect this maybe the only RHD in British Racing Green and somebody well heeled from the #makegreengreatagain fraternity will no doubt snap it up to add to their collection.

POST 5Original post

donutskidmark said: Lovely spec - but still - ridiculous price https://jzmporsche.com/cars/porsche-9912-p0362/ Considering there are others around £240k, low milage/owners and non PTS, then £260k odd seems fair.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes- £269,900 is 260k odd I suppose

POST 12Original post

I've hung around JZM enough to know there is always a deal to do. If not sold in a few weeks I'd put in a cheeky bid. I don't know £230 to £240k. Would probably buy the car

Curledge said: Precisely, just speculative pricing hoping to hook an unsuspecting victimn, bonkers Seems typical of JZM (depending on the car), they've got a 997.2 GT3 RS, started at £209k, then dropped to £199k - still there several weeks later... Mind you, OPC Tewkesbury have just put a 9k mile one on at £214k Most others in the last few months have been around £180k I remember these around £90k at one point...

POST 15Original post

Pricing is mad at the moment - but who knows when we'll see a correction.

911r said: donutskidmark said: Yes- £269,900 is 260k odd I suppose bid them 260k see what they say ....lol Well someone has reserved it so if they paid full asking then they weren't being over optimistic nor did someone say WTF at the price. If they paid less, and struck a deal, lets say 3.85% off, then maybe they got it at £260k....guess we'll never know other than the ticket price was fair - as most likely proven should the reserved status fulfil itself to a sale.

POST 20Original post

Silly price but not as silly as 992GT3 and Touring prices. Looks stunning in BRG but no LEDs, Rear Camera, BOSE and Cruise which is a rather strange spec for a RS WP.

POST 21Original post

The price is all in the colour. That stuff like bose etc irrelevant on a track car IMO. Not all prospective owners worry about usability and or resale etc and this car seems the better for it looking at what level it sold at!

Agreed- compared to a bog standard spec 992 gt3 selling for 240k it’s not as silly. It is a strange spec- at this end of the market normally cruise and rear camera are the norm

POST 23Original post

As a colour green seems to be living up to the hype it will be the most in demand colour for 2022. Amazing how many have actually specced dark verdant green aka sludge for their new Emira.

You do realise high end dealers list cars at silly high prices, then show as sold and then this is then used to justify the next silly priced cars. Reserved doesn't always mean a car has really sold or money changed hands.

Showing as reserved Someone thinks £269,990 is acceptable!

Yep dealers are regularly in the habit of knocking off £40k to sell a virtually unique car. It sold for near asking price.

POST 30Original post

911r said: You never know Cash is becoming king again When are you expecting delivery of your Emira ? As you already know I have an RS WP and was told by my OPC a couple of months ago that they had a buyer wanting to buy mine at minimum £250k so another £20k extra for a one off totally unique Rs in possible the best colour of all and with lot less miles is feasible.

You never know Cash is becoming king again It was but actually isn't anymore. Anyone holding cash is in for massive inflationary erosion and loss of buying power particularly over time. With the financial markets showing little upside atm one of the best places to put your money as a car enthusiast is into a desirable car. Gives driving pleasure with capital appreciation virtually guaranteed. I know many people who are thinking the same as me on this. Win win for driving enthusiasts especially as we approach the twilight years of interesting ice cars.

POST 32Original post

Not sure if the OP is double bluffing. I’m the last person to think a £250k+ car is worth it - but that looks the absolute business. I wish I was in the market as it would be on my driveway (oh yeah, I don’t have one of those either) by the morning. Hope the new buyer actually uses it.

POST 33Original post

Surely no one knows what's going to happen to the value of any ICE car in 30/40 years when electric cars are the norm and the vast majority of petrol stations have closed down?
