Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I will be selling my 2001 white 996t in the next few weeks, and it was originally bought from a Belfast OPC in 2001, then re-registered in the UK in 2002. My question is: Would this fact that it 'came' into England de-value the car in any way? thanks chaps

POST 2Original post

Shouldnt make any difference as it's not an imported car. It's a UK car. Belfast in Northern Ireland is part of the UK. The only difference is that it will originally have been registered with the DVLA equivalent over there from new and then registered with DVLA over here when brought over.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

ok, I was a bit unsure what was classed as an import etc

POST 5Original post

Does it show the country code as C16 on the VIL? If so, not much to worry about.

POST 6Original post

probably wont make much difference and of course white is currently rather popular.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yes, january, but cicumstances have changed, I already have a 3 year old and use the 911 as the main family car and do all normal tasks, shopping, trips away, B&Q trips! but we are now expecting another baby and only have a 2 bedroomed house thus the car has to go so I can buy a 3 bed. (no I cannot convert the loft!) I am absolutely gutted and have just finished doing the brakes, tyres and bushes and upgraded the standard DV's and hoses to eredicate some rough idling and a boost leek (were present when I bought the car) I am getting the wheels refurbished in a shadow chrome at the mo, getting an MOT, my plate off then I will advertise it.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yes, C16 is present. Looks like it should be ok

POST 9Original post

An imported car like that is absolutely worthless, so I'll take it of your hands for a grand 8) Wouldn't bother me personally as long as the docs are in order. TB

POST 10Original post

:floor: that's the perfect car for you, it would show the dirty up very nicely

POST 11Original post

Mine's a Swedish import on C16, I felt I did get it a little bit cheaper when I bought it at 3 years ago at 30k miles but now at 10 years old 60k miles, I feel it should stand up fine against UK supplied model prices, specially as it's beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
