Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I have paired both my wife's and my phones to our new 2011 CS, but when we're both in the car together, the PCM appears to always find and connect to my phone instead of hers. I know I can force it to connect to hers instead, but that process is manual and clunky and has to be done every time. My 2009 MX-5, by comparison, allows you to assign a priority from 1 to 5 to any paired phone, and will automatically switch to a higher-priority phone even if it's already connected to another (as long as there's not a call in progress). Is there no way to tell the PCM to prefer her phone if both are present? It is nominally her car, and she uses her phone more than me, so I would like hers to be the preferred phone.
