Suggestion

Thanks but decided to call Porsche Dealership as I have had some surgery and after reading the file decided I was not up to being able to put my body in the position necessary to change the bulb.

The other day I had my 2011 Cayman out and on the way home I heard a beep sound and looked down after I made my left turn. The instrument cluster said something like check directional light. When I got home I found out the front directional light in the main headlight housing was out. Can someone either tell me how I change the bulb or direct me to a video that shows me how to remove the front headlight assembly and replace the turn signal which is in it. Thanks but decided to call Porsche Dealership as I have had some surgery and after reading the file decided I was not up to being able to put my body in the position necessary to change the bulb. Come to find out it was covered by warrantee so they took care of it for me. Nice! Midnight Shadow

If you do decide to change a headlight assembly bulb in the future, the manual's instructions are good, and the tools in your toolkit will do their jobs. BUT, the manual doesn't say that when you put the assembly back in, it needs to go in Just So, or you won't be able to lock it in place. The assembly pushes back in all the way flush, not just to the 1/4" out position arrived at by the tool on the way out. When you do lock it in, it will do so with a loud SNAP!, makes you think something broke. First time, I did mine twice thinking I'd broken something the first time...
