Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

There are still some nice RHD cars in South Africa and at a reasonable price (AU$160K), unlike here. https://creativerides.co.za/listings/1961-porsche-356b-1600cc/ .

POST 2Original post

Even cheaper? I converted 1600000 South African Rand is just under AUD $137000!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My SA connection here said 10 Rand to our dollar. Currency convert does say 137K. Interesting.

POST 4Original post

RHD 356 for either price looks like a great deal!

POST 5Original post

Factor in Luxury Car Tax and correcting whatever has happened to the frunk and it is not such a great deal Oh, and it is white.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a contact in Lindsay Saker motors and could check their records there. The front trunk?  The gas tanks looks out of shape - there being a reason possibly. If it was a CKD car in SA it would be original RHD. White is fine for some. Even with LCT, import duties and shipping - still less than the near 300K many want for an A these days. EDIT: actually it is a BT5 with the mixed A and B features.
