Are you wiring in from the PCM or do you have a different head unit? I was told it could not be done from the Porsche Communication System. If it can be done then I would be interested in doing it also.

I have reverse camera in my boxster, Mine went through from my aftermarket headunit, to under the compartment then to the carpet lining under the umbrella storage, going straight the side airbag, going out of the rear compartment, and going under the carpet straight to the plate lights area, everything is hidden,

Yep an aftermarket Pioneer HU. So are we following the plastic at the edge of the roof liner and door? Up and over rather than down and up. Does make more sense than under the carpets like I have been trying. I am going to run some cat5 network cable so as to run the camera when the engine is running and to supply the switched feed for the HU. Saves running multiple cables hopefully.
