Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I had my car lowered (PSS9's) a while back and noticed today that my main front fogs are not working?. I'm running the Jtec LED assembly, which is plug and play replacement. The LED daytime lights (first click on light switch) are working just fine, so the assembly is getting power. Pulling out once on the lights switch illuminates the green fog light icon, but no fog lights on? Rear fog lights work fine. From the fuse box diagram or appears that both front and rear fog lights are on the same fuse, so it came e new the fuse? Oliver from Jtec insists it's the fuse, but that doesn't seem to be the case? Any ideas? Driving me nuts!

POST 2Original post

What year is your car? Our 2011 has no front fog lights, only a single rear fog light; the strip lights you refer to as DRLs (first click of the switch) are what the Brits call "side lights" or running lights, and the actual DRLs are what I believe you may be mistaking for fog lights. Forgive the seemingly condescending question, but are you sure the DRLs have not simply been turned off in the menus? (Set - Lights - Daytime lights, IIRC)

POST 3Original post

test if its supplying power, you can either get a tester or put the original one back.

POST 4Original post

My car is 2006, so the 'DRL' is really the daytime lights. I have a panamera so I know what you meant about the display options. Thanks though.

POST 5Original post

No power going to the fog but the daytime (first click to the right before headlights) are fine. Like i mentioned, it's both sides and since they are all LEDs (7 or 8 individual LED on each assembly), it's unlikely all LEDs blew at once! The old stock assembly had the same issue, so the car has turned off power to these. My main headlights also stored stopped self leveling, but they both come on.
