Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

While driving into a tunnel or covered parking garage, my radio instantly turns to annoying, raspy static while listening to AM or FM radio. Radios in my other cars lose some reception but still allow you to hear something when driving under covered structures. It is particularly annoying when that sports score you've been waiting for is just being announced as you enter the garage! Any suggestions for improving the radio reception or boosting the antenna?

POST 2Original post

In tunnels, the best thing to do to improve the sound... is to turn off the radio and open the windows... and hit the loud pedal. This is a real treat if you have a sports or free-flowing exhaust.

POST 4Original post

I had poor reception in weak areas and found that the antenna plug-in in back of radio was loose probably from when I installed 6 CD change. Became much more acceptable after that fix. Probably not your problem but who knows ?
