Had my battery jumped, and lost 2 functions in my CS.
1)The heated seats do not operate.
2)The Garage door opener buttons are no longer operating.
I tried looking at the fuse box diagram, and found nothing. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks and happy holidays!

What are you talking about..............? (Heated Seats, Garage Doors.....?)
Very sorry, this post was meant for CS drivers in 1st World Countries with Gargage's and proper dental care.
"You 'Avin a laugh... Is he 'Avin a laugh...!!??
Sounds to me like you blew a fuse somewhere.
Do the diodes on the Home Link light up when you push the buttons? You may have just lost the memory settings, and have to reprogram it.
The heated seats sounds more like a fuse issue (again, checking the indicator lights on the console buttons might help sort it out).
Thanks people (and Geezers').
I guess I am asking for more specific info. as to WHICH fuse(s) I need to change. I could not find out from the diagram. There is no light response when the garage door opener is pushed, so I'm assuming that is a fuse issue.
Cayman_Storky,
Consider your self lucky if all there is is a burnt fuse. Modern cars do not do well being jumped particularly with a booster jump. Typically, in a professional shop, the battery would be disconnected from the car (unless they have one of the devises designed to protect the computers), fast charged, and then reconnected to the car. The problem is the number of computers and the main computer.
If you can not determine which fuse is the culprit, you will need a multi-meter and check each one for continuity or resistance. If all fuses prove to be good, you may have caused some damage to one of the many computers in the car.
Some cars have fuses other than those in the fuse panel. You really need a good wiring to find them.
good luck.
Thanks, I'll check into that!
You have not told us why the battery was in need of a jump. Had it been awhile since it was used? Typical of the SW would be rodent damage to the wiring instead of a fuse. Hope not because that could be expensive to repair.
This was few days ago, so I suspect you have resolved your problem by now - if not, and all the fuses are fine, a hard reset ie disconnecting the battery and connecting it back may help. On the other hand, if you have removed most fuses to check them out, it would be very close to a full system reset.
No one seems to know where the fuse is for the heated seats ! Help !
Jon, have you looked at the fuse chart in the Files section here at the
Cayman
Club?
I have yeah thanks -

Reading have had a look and said the problem with the seats and headlamp washers will require "further investigation", which sounds like it could be expensive so I'll make do without for now
