Suggestion

Basically you end up with a choice of having the mirror where you need it to be and the V1 pointing towards the sky and floor, OR you can properly aim the V1 and forget about using the rear-view mirror.

Does anyone know if any of the mounts for a Valentine 1 that attach to the stalk of the rear view mirror will work on the Caymans oblong stalk? I found one that says it will work on the oddly shaped Toyota stalks, but the Cayman stalk looks like it is even wider and more eliptical in shape.

I tried one of these. I literally spent 3 hours and while I did get it all mounted, there was just no way to have something between the mirror and the ball-socket. Basically you end up with a choice of having the mirror where you need it to be and the V1 pointing towards the sky and floor, OR you can properly aim the V1 and forget about using the rear-view mirror.
