With the words, "I'm only looking today love" being foolishly uttered to Mrs Leg as I left the house at 11am on Saturday I set off with a mate of mine to tour a few garages.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
40 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I got planning permission on Wednesday to build the second garage block on some land I bought next to the house earlier in the year. Space for eight more cars.
With the words, "I'm only looking today love" being foolishly uttered to Mrs Leg as I left the house at 11am on Saturday I set off with a mate of mine to tour a few garages.
Few hours later I had bought this to join the fleet. Oops! 2011, Gen2, 6000 miles.
Great choice, almost same spec as mine. Love to see it in it's new home when you've built it. Did you see any other rs's before this ?

You don't really get time to view multiple cars with these things. They come up and they sell. So I only saw this one.
It's from 911 Sport. Not sure why they have a plane!?!

That looks great and 911 Sport are a great bunch. I had to pop out on Saturday afternoon to get some petrol - of course I drove the 50 miles to the Shell station in Horncastle
Now I know theres a thread on garages and that car is great but a bit of me cannot wait to see some details on the garage design as I'm just doing mine and waiting on planning. I'm going from 2 to 4 car with a car lift and room above for storage, underfloor heating, wet room....where will it end. I mean a car like yours deserves the best space and if the wife kicks you out for spending all that money you have somewhere to go
@ Atom - I'll post the architect plans later when I'm on my pc
EDIT - on this thread

By the way, my current 2 post and my 4 post are from Liftech. They've been spot on and run off a normal plug! I intend to order 4 four post lifts for the new garage from them too.

amazing purchase.
look forward to seeing its new home.
I don't live too far from you, and often pass going to see a friend.
Feel free to bob in. 4th on right past the pub, green metal gates.
Bl00dy Porsche owners! ;-)
So, the grey one was for sale by 911 Sport but on behalf of a client. He messed them about no end to the stage where they and I were sick of him so we pulled out of that deal today (although I had placed a deposit).
The guys at 911 Sport have been superb this week sorting things out and between us we have sourced and bought a white one. Its in the PH classifieds. Now definately bought and mine. Great thing is this one has full Paintshield coverage which I have on my other Porsche and my 458 Spider so Im very happy with that.
I did consider the white one at JZM due to its very low mileage but its from Hong Kong and I didnt want to risk future value with buyers being unhappy with that fact.
Its never boring eh!

I really like grey ones but the white one looks pretty awesome too! Bit puzzled by your comment about the HK car and putting off future buyers as thought you said you never sell your cars..

There'll come a day, when I'm 70 I suspect, when managing a car collection and living in Yorkshire in winter, won't appeal and the attractions of somewhere Mediterranean and my favourite 2-3 cars will be too much to resist.
On that day someone will be in for the chance to buy some very well cared for cars. I'll be in for G&T for breakfast. :-)
i like your style!
I am just going through the motions to get a garage built, nothing fancy just for 1 car, I am popping into Porsche centre this weekend without the wife so im expecting to get a deposit down on a Cayman, I did plan to get the garage built first, but I dont think i can resist and wait that long =)
Congratulations Leg! I have had mine a year now and I love it more each time I drive it.
Looks like a beautiful example - they look amazing in any colour.
Cheers. Bought 2 more, although not Porsche, on Friday.
Havent even done the groundworks yet. Oops! I'm definately waiting till the 2nd garage is built before I buy anything else. I know I am cos the wife told me so.

Was the Esprit purchase inspired the Top Gear episode, I wonder..
Looks great though, as does the 911 of course
Been hankering after one for a while. Saw that one at John Holland and went to look. It was absolutely mint with loads of history so I just had to. Then I noticed a Mk2 Jag that had been fully restored and the guy who inspects cars for me inspected it and said it was absolutely mint and......I bought that tooo. Arrgh. I need help.

You need someone to drive them regularly, oh if I must.
