I am expecting this to happen regularly given Porsche have not updated the mounts and they are used on a lot of models.

Hi all, Driving my GT4 today and a PADM error appeared on the dash. Has anyone experienced this and what does this exactly mean? Thanks Al

Porsche PADM is the active engine mounts. Basically electronically controlled to stiffen side to side and when launching. Stops the engine movement when cornering.                              These can fail but might just be a code fault. Try clearing the code and see.         A good independent Porsche mechanic or dealer can check this.

A well known and common as fault. Had it on the GT3. An engine mount needs replacing. I am expecting this to happen regularly given Porsche have not updated the mounts and they are used on a lot of models.

Yes had this error and in my case it was the active transmission mounts. They were replaced under warranty so I cannot advise the cost.

I had one replaced. Approx $3k fitted at Porsche Centre.

Yep, PCSS replaced it under warranty. Great service from PCSS... I called them and explained that I have an upcoming track day and they asked the car to come in right away so they can fix it. Found a slot for me.
