I placed an order for a C4S with an X51 package and a Sport Exhaust. My salesman at Sonnen Porsche called me today and said the Sport Exhaust is not available with the C4S. He said he called his contact at PCNA and was told they will not be available until March builds (He says mine will be a December build). Has anyone heard of this? I asked if it was because I'm getting the X51 and he said it doesn't have anything to do with it....they are not available with ANY C4s. I guess I could retrofit the Sport Exhaust after I receive the car, but I really wanted it to be factory installed.

If you don't want the electronic and vacuum controls that turn it off (or at least damper the sound) then it is very easy. Less than an hour to install the mufflers. With electronics and vacuum stuff... about 8 hours since you have to route the wires through the cabin interior.

It is available. I ended up getting the sports exhaust dealer installed for the factory option price. I had an on/off switch in lieu of speed activated bypass. I have'nt had it on quiet yet. The sound is wonderful.

Sport exhaust is available as an option when the car is being built. It is code 'XLF' $2400.00 I have personally seen two different C4S's with sport exhaust. I actually ordered one for a customer and it comes with the switch in dash for quiet/loud operation. Good Luck.
