Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I test drove a 02 911 cabriolet yesterday that had perforated leather seats. It was around 85 degrees and humid. After driving with the top up my back was extremely sweaty. I then put the top down and got even more sweaty. The car was black and the interior was black. Is the perforated part of the seat leather and is it normal for your back tosweat like that? Would the full leather seats make more difference? Or how about a different color seat? Steve

POST 2Original post

Forced air cooled perforated seat backs is the only way to cool your back on a hot day in a black car with black interior.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Excuse my ignorance but is that a porsche option? Or is it something you purchase elsewhere? Steve

POST 5Original post

I have the perforated sport seats in my 996 and and i like that they are not plush (plush seats show wear quicker) and the sport seats have a reall nice snug feel. They are real leather, and black leather seats will always be hot, just let the car cool down and then get in them.
