Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Here is a link to a guy in NSW , he modifies your exhaust to a sportier sound . No droning . Cost effective as well.

POST 2Original post

This will only work on the 987.1 as it has one of the cats in the muffler. In the 987.2, both cats are in series in the headers/manifold. It will still sound better than stock but not a whole let louder.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i know. Treatment for 987.2 is a different set up.

POST 4Original post

Yours sounds great Arne.  Damned quick too!!!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My new ride is tickled up a bit as well . Quick car. I do prefer the 5 speed manual over the 6 . I only use 1 to 3 rd gear anyway. 😅

POST 6Original post

Don't hold back Arne! What else has been done?

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You got me: 😂 . GT3 air intake and plenum , sport filter, mako exhaust, Bilstein coilovers , lowered , spacers, ECU tune , ( got the program from a tuner in the U. K. ) , suspension set up like camber. Don’t know about “ more HP”, but tremendous response on low revs , a bit more power than I need at times , but still able to drive the hell out of it in the hills . Just right for now and very civil in metro.

POST 8Original post

I'm tracking along those same lines. I don't necessarily need more top end HP, but some bottom/mid end stuff to get me shifting away from the lights is what I'm after. What you have looks like a good starting point!

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Let's talk turbo... 😄 👍

POST 10Original post

I have a set of SOUL bolt on X-Pipes im going to sell - made a difference to the sound of my Spyder. Not much - but could hear it - (but i also had a custom PSE) and made for raspy down / up changes.
