Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

My car had power steering squealing and the fluid was full and never leaked. This went on for 3-4 days and then seem to go away. I took it in and the mechanic look at for an hour and tighten all the bolts. Said it was fine. No Noise. Two Days later I was coming out of the drive way and heard something break in the steering system as well as the steering becoming easier to turn and the smoothness of steering wheel was gone. Different feel altogether. Now.. There is a small Nosie in the left front of the car as well as being able to feel it in wheel. It sounds like thud or clunk. I thing it might be a strut but it doesn't wobble or pull on to the right or left. Two shops have looked at it to no avail. Anybody HELP! Any front end specialist around in Seattle? Has anybody experienced this?
