Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

I tried my durametric system and it showed no error on the PC but errors on the dash, so I can't really reset anything there.

Suggestion

My guess is they reflashed the dash controller and neglected to set the options bit map correctly.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

a little background about my car's performance mods: -fabspeed race exhaust -bmc filter -softronic race plenum and throttle body - softronic ecu upgrade so I took my car to the dealer for service and when they tried to reset the service warning light by their computer, the car showed multiple errors on the dash (traction, abs, etc). they tried to reset it but said it's not possible because my ECU is upgraded, bare in mind I have the tune for 4 years and I service yearly at the dealer with no issues. I tried my durametric system and it showed no error on the PC but errors on the dash, so I can't really reset anything there. Anyway, they called a couple of their senior guys and one thing led to the other and finally they cleared all the dash warnings and I left happy. They stated that they didn't erase the tune, just edited the codes out. Anyway, I noticed that day 2 things: - the dash doesn't say audio on/off anymore - my sport chrono is not available nor can I find it on the dash menu - my cruise control doesn't work. I'm going back to the dealer after the holidays but does anyone have any idea why that happened?
