Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hey all, replacing my leaking clutch master cylinder and I’m having trouble removing this hose. I don’t want to damage the fitting. Anyone have any experience with the method? It seems like a squeeze and pull, but it gets hung up at the end. Thanks!!

POST 2Original post

The hose is just smooth, so it looks like just squeeze and pull like you're doing. Maybe you're just fighting vacuum? You could try disconnecting the other end of that hose from the MC first, or make sure the MC is open to air somehow.
