Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I bought them used (but like new because they were refinished) with new tires for $4,000.
Leading evidence: 'Use (but like new' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use (but like new' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi,
I just purchased these 19" Champions and I should have them early this week. I was curious about something....I've only seen these wheels on cars with aero kits. I don't have an aero kit on my 996 Cab and I'm wondering if these wheel will look "goofy" on my plain vanilla Cab. Opinions?
To me, it looks good but if that's your car in the first pic then all you have to do to feel better is add a turbo nose. I'd lower it with the euro M 030 suspension then you'll be all set. It kinda looks naked in front with the side skirts and that rear spoiler but other then that Great looking cab
If that was my car, I'd be happy.
The thing is that my Cab doesn't have the aero kit so I'm hoping that my car doesn't look like a 4x4 with the 19" wheels.
I don't want to be a KJ, but do you realize that by putting 19" wheels, unless you put real low profile tires on to keep the rolling diameters equal to the original, there is a potential for decreased performance due to the resultant higher gear ratio?
Hi Palting,
The tires are a lower profile, the fronts are 35 series and the rears are 30 series, so hopefully I won't have any issues...(keeping my fingers crossed).
They are probably 235/35-19 and 275/30-19. Both of these have an approximate diameter of 25.5" which is about 3/8" to 1/2" taller than stock tire sizes. Not a huge difference but at the limit, nevertheless.
Renato...here's my $.02....aesthetically I believe they will look fine, but as Paulting suggests if the new diameter of your wheel & tire (sidewall+2+wheel diameter is not the same with 19" as it was with 18's then the circumference will be different.
The other thought I had was that your ride may be harsher and with lower profile tires the chances of bending a wheel will be greater.
BTW, what color is your car?

Right, but the extra unsprung weight probably does make a huge difference in terms of performance degredation in handling, braking, and acceleration.

Correct but I find very few people care about such issues. People upgrading to 19's are mostly doing it for looks. I, for one, would never change my wheels and tires knowing that their weight will increase.

Hi Don,
My Cab is Polar Silver w/ Metropol Blue
Great combo. MY Cab is AS/MB. Any chance you have any pics. Would really like to see Polar Silver. Haven't seen one since my 94 Speedster days.

Hi Don,
This will be the "before" picture, with the factory wheels. Hopefully by the end of the week, I'll be posting an updated photo with the new wheel set.
You're right I don't see many Polar Silver P cars much, but I think that the Boxster on the cover of the latest Panorama is.

Not with lighter wheels. My 19" are lighter than my 18". Champion wheels are supposed to be light and strong but you do have to be careful when going over bumps and try to avoid pot-holes.

I just had them put on today and I like the look. I will post pics as soon as I can, after I have it cleaned.

Q: what kind of tires you put on?</strong><hr></blockquote>
Hi There!
I opted for Michelin Pilot Sports. IMHO, they are much quieter than PZeros.
