Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Iguana would probably say AmD... Scottster had one for a 993 fitted from there. Seemed to do the job. Up a few bhp on the before/after dyno runs. This was in conjunction with sports exhaust and air filter, so would suggest you do these before you go there. They are based in Bicester, J9 M40 Oxfordshire.

POST 2Original post

I had my C2S done at AMD despite iguana's service desk manner [ :-) ]. Have to say they did an excellent job - no other mods, but dyno still showed 15bhp gain to 295 and more importantly, 20 ft/lbs increase across a wide rev range. Car noticeably quicker, pulling over 6K in 6th at Brunters for 163 on the clocks. In my case, I even got the factory chip back .. No connection etc etc - HTH, cheers, Maurice

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone got any suggstions as to what company I should go to in UK for the best results of an upgraded "chip" for my 993?
