Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Picked up my car here in Vegas this morning at 10:00. I feel like a kid in a candy store. It's been a long time since I have driven a real sports car, and after driving a QX56 as my daily, I must say I felt like I was in a Go-Kart. My car is a Tip so I was a bit worried, but am no longer. It is extremely responsive and quick. As I said before, I feel the car can use some more ponies, but it is fast none-the-less. First Impressions: <ul> [*]Pretty loud for a stock car. I LOVE IT. While doing about 70 on the highway, I put the throttle to the floor and the engine opened up nicely. [*]Sport Chrono is a must after having it. Although there are times I will not have it on, when it is the engine's RPM's are quite a bit higher even when it isn't under any significant load. E.G. I was driving about 40 MPH with the Sport option on, andthe car was at about 2800 RPM's. When I turned the Sport off, it shifted into fifth immediately and dropped a K or so. When I turned it back on, it downshifted to fourth. [*]Bose Sound system is excellent. Lots of base if you want it, and also great highs. [*]19' SD's look awesome. I don't think I need wheel spacers with them, but the showroom car with the 18's definitely does. Not sure if it is more of an illusion or not. [*]Car doesn't look like it is sitting to high in person. [/list] Good luck to everyone else still waiting, as it is well worth it. Now I just have to keep my wife away from it. She drove it already and I think she will be in it more than myself.

POST 4Original post

When I was a little kid I new I had to move away from my home town of Kenosha, Wisconsin. The neverending overcast and horrible weather was enough for me. Luckily my parents and brother moved here also, so Vegas is our 'home.' We love it here - great economy, entertainment, and people. After working all day yesterday,I am going out to drive the Cayman this morning. Happy Days to all on this site.

He's too busy having fun to throw us some crumbs. K-man S I'm glad Cayman Club has achieved an early momentum, else it might get rather quiet around here after people get their cars. As it is I think it will have a long life and the best is yet to come! Edited by - K-Man-sculpture.net on 01/15/2006 08:58:11 AM

POST 7Original post

I'm on-site working today - computers, arrrgghhh. When I get home, I'll snap some. The car is a dream! Went out this morning at 7:00 to see how hard I could throw it into a corner. Let's say that at this point, the car can do lot's more than I'm capable of. Balanced is an understatement.
