Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, The cover to the passenger side sun visor on my car has fallen off. The lights around the mirror stay on all the time. I'm considering disconnecting the lights rather than try and buy a new visor fixture. Does anyone know how to do that? Is it fairly simple and easy? Thanks, Ray 2002 Boxster S Tiptronic

POST 2Original post

I would just take the bulbs out. It gets electricity from a little buss bar that runs through the pole on the visor into where it attaches towards the middle of the windshield. I think the light cover just pops off to expose the bulbs.

POST 3Original post

Yup, just remove the bulbs Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
