Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The car was standing next to a 911 - I looked long and hard ( both were Arctic Silver ) - at least to me the Cayman looked better, but changing the wheels will be high on my to do list.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

This morning I saw my car, and it will be the last time I see it for a while/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/wall.gif No, I am not going to jail, but it will feel like it - lets hope the Canadian winter is short this year /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/teeth_smile.gif The car was standing next to a 911 - I looked long and hard ( both were Arctic Silver ) - at least to me the Cayman looked better, but changing the wheels will be high on my to do list. In summary, for those that have received the car, you are so lucky, for those that are waiting, I wait with you ... /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/hi.gif

POST 2Original post

Euroboy, I don't understand? Why are you not able to pick up your car? Russ/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/confused_smile.gif

POST 3Original post

those of us in the north understand. it is likely hibernating...

POST 4Original post

For those of us in the snow belt, let's hope for a mild winter. It's been in the 50's for the last few days here in NY and I wish I had my new car to drive (Feb build/Mar delivery). Euroboy, what are you doing with your car until spring?

POST 5Original post

That is well put - I like that - I will think of my car hibernating - maybe that will make things go by faster /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/regular_smile.gif For now I will just keep on reading here, accounts of all the lucky once that are driving the car ( so please keep those reports coming /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thumbsup.gif )

POST 6Original post

As for the storage, since I am still working on my garage, the dealer is taking care of it in an off site location.

POST 7Original post

I understand, sorry but I thought snow was science fiction? Just kidding of course, but weather is something that we seldom consider here in the Islands. I do wish you the best. I don't know how you can leave it at the dealers? I would just want it near me even if I couldn't drive it! You could sit in it and pretend at least. Aloha Russ

POST 8Original post

in the uk we have all the elements, snow, ice, rain(lots of) & some sunshine..........I feel for you, we have driven our Cayman in all of the above & thats in one week!!

POST 9Original post

it helps to be motorcycle rider. i am used to waiting until spring. i took up snowboarding, keeps me happy and busy though the winter. i am off to utah tomorrow, and will attend the launch in salt lake city!

POST 10Original post

North America is currently having a 'continent sized chinook' so there's no problem bringing the Cayman (considering you have a garage)
