Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I’ve filled the footwell with big bags of silica gel for now to see if it dries out.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Evening, as above really my 987 is suffering from a damp drivers footwell, the drains are as clear as I could get them and the door and sill carpet are dry so I don’t think it’s a membrane. The front bulkhead seems dry too so I’m at a loss as to where it’s coming from. Has anyone got any ideas ? Thanks

POST 2Original post

Watching with interest, as I have a 2006 987 Boxster. Hopefully somebody will be along soon with some useful info. In the meantime, could this have anything to do with it? https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My passenger side is bone dry, I had the screen replaced a few months ago and it rained hard a week or so after and it didn’t leak then so I doubt it’s the screen. I’ve filled the footwell with big bags of silica gel for now to see if it dries out.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I’ve found where the water is coming from but I have no idea how to fix it. It’s pissing it down outside and the car is getting wet
