Anyone heard yet about availability for repair manuals? I'm doing some custom cosmetic work and need to know how to take apart a few bits in the interior. Like taking off the door mirror and how to get access to the 'Cayman S' script on the back.....or is that glued on? I love that there's a forum for this kind of stuff. I'll post pictures of my car in a few weeks when it's complete....

dental floss and peanut butter works great to take emblem off. Standby for article on taking off interior parts and reinstalling, should be posted in the next couple of weeks.

I hope there will be something like the Bently manual, but I suspect if it does come out it will be sometime. I think someone mentioned here that Porsche does have the manual on-line, and it was $100 per chapter ( if I recall correctly ). As for removing lettering, I understand that dental floss works very well /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/teeth_smile.gif

Don't hold your breath for a Bentley, Haynes or other non-factory repair manual. Bentley has a Boxster manual for the 986 (to 2004) & is still pre 1990 for the 911. Haynes has no Porsche manuals covering any cars since the 1989 model year.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
